Head Coach: Doug Butler

Bio: Doug Butler is the head coach of the Satellite High School cross country teams, and coaches both the men's and women's cross country teams at Eastern Florida State College.

Butler has won 24 state championships and been the runner-up 15 times in his high school coaching career. He founded the women's cross country program in 2021-22 at Eastern Florida State College.

The Satellite Scorps Cross Country team wrapped up an incredible season at the FHSAA State Championships!

Boys Team: 6th Place

Girls Team: 8th Place

This marks 10 consecutive years of the boys finishing in the Top 8 and 9 consecutive years for the girls finishing in the Top 10 at State—an impressive streak of excellence!

Special shoutout to Celina Coryell for an amazing performance, medaling with a time of 18:44 and placing 9th overall!

This meet was also a special milestone for Coach Butler, who coached his 25th and final State Championship. He extends his heartfelt thanks to Coach Gaudy and Mrs. Lundy for helping make this season unforgettable.
