Four BPS High Schools are listed in the Top 100 in Florida for 2024, according to the Best Schools list released by U.S. News and World Report.

 According to the publication's annual schools list, West Shore Jr./Sr. High is the third-ranked high school in Florida and the 43rd-ranked high school in the country.

 Edgewood Jr./Sr. High is ranked sixth in Florida and 57th in the nation. Additionally, Satellite High is ranked 74th  in the state and 1,183 in the country, and Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. is ranked 83rd in the state and 1,335 in the nation. 

 “It is great to see the hard work of our students and staff recognized with these rankings.  Our entire community should be very proud.  Student access to advanced coursework is critical to their success in the future, and these schools are meeting this need at a high level,” said BPS Superintendent Dr. Mark Rendell.
